Welcome to Sydney Transit. By installing, downloading, accessing, or using the Sydney Transit application ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please refrain from using the App.

1. Service Description

Sydney Transit is a mobile public transport information companion app designed for commuters in Greater Sydney and New South Wales. The App displays real-time departures, schedules, route details, vehicle maps, and trip planning information sourced from public open data feeds.

2. Data Sources & Independent Status

Independent Application Notice:

Sydney Transit is an independent application developed by MojoSoft. It is NOT affiliated with, endorsed by, authorized by, or representing Transport for NSW (TfNSW) or any government entity.

All transit departure times, GTFS feeds, and vehicle coordinates are retrieved using public, open-access API data feeds sourced directly from:

3. Disclaimer of Warranties

The App and all information, schedules, and maps contained within it are provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis without warranties of any kind. While we strive to ensure high accuracy and performance:

Transit departure times and route information depend on third-party public API availability and cellular network connectivity.
We do not warrant that real-time predictions will be uninterrupted, error-free, or 100% precise during network outages or service disruptions.
Users should always verify critical travel decisions with official station displays and transport operator announcements.

4. User Responsibilities & Acceptable Use

You agree to use Sydney Transit solely for lawful, personal transport navigation purposes. You agree not to:

Attempt to decompile, reverse engineer, or extract source code from the App.
Interfere with, overload, or disrupt the operation of the App or underlying network infrastructure.

5. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, the developer (J Pearson / MojoSoft) shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages arising out of or in connection with your use or inability to use the App, including missed transport connections, delays, or travel disruptions.

6. Intellectual Property

The visual branding, user interface design, custom icons, and codebase of Sydney Transit are owned by J Pearson / MojoSoft. Public transport logos, line names, and route numbers belong to their respective copyright holders and open data licensors.

7. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to update these Terms of Service at any time. Continued use of the App following any changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.
