Independent Status: Slovak Rail & Bratislava Transit is an independent software tool. It utilizes published timetable data from DPB (Dopravný podnik Bratislava) and ŽSR (Železnice Slovenskej republiky) but is not officially affiliated with, endorsed by, or representing DPB, ŽSR, ZSSK, or IDS BK.
2. Data Collection & Usage
2.1 Real-Time Location Data
To provide features like "Nearest Stop" and distance-aware station listings, the app requests access to your device's GPS.
- Local Processing: Your coordinates are used only on your device to calculate distances to nearby stops.
- Privacy-First: Your location is NEVER uploaded to any server or shared with any third party.
- Optional Access: You can deny location access and still use all search, guide, and planning features manually.
2.2 Anonymous Analytics
We use Firebase Analytics and Crashlytics to monitor app performance, fix errors, and maintain app stability.
This data is purely technical and anonymous. It includes information such as device model, OS version, and crash diagnostics. It contains no personal identifiers.
2.3 Advertising (Google AdMob)
