2.1 Real-Time Location Data
To provide features like "Nearest Station" and distance-aware departure boards, the app requests access to your device's GPS.
- Local Processing: Your coordinates are used only on your device to calculate distances to nearby stations.
- Privacy-First: Your location is NEVER uploaded to any server or shared with any third party.
- Optional Access: You can deny location access and still use all search and planning features manually.
2.2 Anonymous Analytics
We use Firebase Analytics and Crashlytics to monitor app health and identify performance bottlenecks.
This data is purely technical and anonymous. It includes information such as device model, OS version, and crash logs. It contains no personal identifiers and cannot be linked back to you.
2.3 Advertising (Google AdMob)
Rail Commander is a free service supported by advertisements. Google AdMob may collect and use device identifiers to serve and personalize ads. You can manage these preferences within your device's Google settings.
