1. Introduction

Welcome to Quantum Invaders! This privacy policy explains how MojoSoft ("we", "us", or "our") handles information when you use the Quantum Invaders mobile game application (the "App").

We are committed to protecting your privacy. Quantum Invaders is designed with privacy as a core principle. The App operates primarily offline and does not collect personal information.

2. Information We Do NOT Collect

Quantum Invaders does NOT collect:

Personal identification information (name, email, phone number, address)
Location data or GPS coordinates
Camera or microphone access
Contacts or calendar data
Files or photos from your device
Social media accounts or login credentials

3.1 Local Game Data

The following information is stored locally on your device only and never transmitted to our servers:

Game progress: Your current level, score, and unlocked achievements
Settings: Your preferences for sound, language, and display options
High scores: Your personal best scores and statistics
Unlocked content: Ships, power-ups, and game modes you've unlocked

This data remains on your device and is deleted if you uninstall the app. We cannot access this information, and it is never uploaded to cloud servers.

3.4 World Leaderboard (Optional)

Participation in the world leaderboard is completely optional. If you choose to submit your high score to the leaderboard, we collect:

Username: A display name you choose (not your real name)
Score, wave, and sector: Your game achievement data
Player ID: An anonymous UUID identifier (Supabase anonymous user ID, not linked to your real identity)
Country code: Derived from IP geolocation for regional statistics only
Timestamp: When the score was achieved

Important notes about the leaderboard:

Your username is a display name you choose - we never ask for or display your real name
The Player ID is an anonymous UUID that cannot be traced back to your identity
Country code is used only for regional leaderboards and statistics
Leaderboard scores are publicly visible to all players
Data is stored securely in Supabase's encrypted database
You can opt-out at any time by simply not submitting scores to the leaderboard
Leaderboard data is retained indefinitely for game statistics and rankings

4. How We Use Information

The limited data we collect (with your consent) is used only for:

Improving gameplay: Understanding which features players enjoy
Bug fixes: Identifying and resolving technical issues
Performance optimization: Ensuring smooth gameplay across devices
Feature development: Planning future game updates based on usage patterns

We do NOT use your information for advertising, marketing, or any purpose other than improving the game.

5. Data Storage and Security

All game data is stored locally on your device using encrypted storage mechanisms provided by your mobile operating system:

iOS: Data is stored in the app's sandboxed container with iOS encryption
Android: Data is stored using Android's secure SharedPreferences

If you enable cloud backup on your device (iCloud or Google Drive), your game progress may be included in device backups. This is controlled by your device settings, not by our app.

6. Third-Party Services

Quantum Invaders may integrate the following third-party services:

6.1 Google Analytics for Firebase (Optional)

6.2 AdMob (Optional)

If you choose to watch optional reward ads, Google AdMob may collect device information for ad serving. AdMob is subject to Google's privacy policy and does not share data with us.

6.3 Supabase (Optional - World Leaderboard)

If you choose to participate in the world leaderboard, we use Supabase for anonymous leaderboard hosting. Supabase provides secure, encrypted data storage:

Data is encrypted in transit (HTTPS) and at rest
Supabase uses anonymous authentication (UUID-based, not linked to personal identity)

Leaderboard data is stored in EU/US regions with GDPR compliance

7. Children's Privacy (COPPA Compliance)

Quantum Invaders is suitable for all ages, including children under 13. We take children's privacy seriously:

We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13
The game does not contain social features or chat functionality
No ads are shown to children (family-safe content only)
Parental consent is not required as no personal data is collected

8. Your Rights and Choices

You have complete control over your data:

Access: All your data is stored locally on your device
Deletion: Uninstall the app to delete all game data
