Independent App Notice: Leeds Bus Times is an independent app. Bus and rail information is sourced from official open data (West Yorkshire Metro YourNextBus, bustimes.org, and National Rail). We are not affiliated with West Yorkshire Combined Authority, First West Yorkshire, or Arriva.

2. Information We Collect

2.1 Location Data (Optional, Used Locally Only)

Purpose: To show nearby bus stops, rail stations, and provide location-based journey planning.

            Local processing: Your location is processed on your device to find nearby stops.
Never uploaded: Your GPS coordinates are NEVER sent to our servers.
Optional: You can deny location permission and still use search features.

        

2.2 Usage Analytics & Crash Reports

Purpose: To identify bugs and improve app performance.

We use Firebase Analytics and Crashlytics to collect anonymous technical data:

Anonymous usage patterns (buttons clicked, features used).
Technical crash logs (device model, Android version).
No personal identification data is ever included in these reports.

2.3 Advertising Data (Google AdMob)

Purpose: To display advertisements that keep the app free.
