1. Introduction & Local-First Privacy Guarantee

DoseTrack ("the Application"), developed by MojoSoft (J Pearson), is built with an absolute 100% local-first data architecture. We believe your daily medication history, dosage schedules, prescription stock levels, and personal health logs are deeply private and belong strictly on your device.

DoseTrack does not require cloud account registration, user logins, or centralized remote database storage. All your entries remain exclusively inside your device's encrypted local SQLite database.

2. Information Stored Locally On Your Device

The following data is created and saved solely within your device's local memory:

• Medication Logs: Medication names, dosage amounts (mg, mcg, pills, drops), frequency rules, start/end dates, and daily administration timestamps.
• Prescription Stock Sentinel Data: Optional pill counts, bottle refill thresholds, and pharmacy refill reminder alerts.
• Side Effects & Clinical Notes: Symptom logs, severity ratings, and personal notes correlated with daily medication events.
• App Preferences: Selected visual theme (Light Clinical / Dark Clinical), sound preferences, and notification schedules.

3. Camera & System Permissions

DoseTrack requests specific device permissions strictly to enable local app functionalities:

• Camera Permission: Used exclusively for the optional on-device prescription label OCR scanner to auto-detect medication names and dosages. Camera imagery is processed locally using ML Kit on your device and is never recorded, transmitted, or uploaded to external servers.
• Notifications & Alarms: Used to trigger precise local dose reminders and low-stock refill alerts directly from your device's operating system looper.

4. Regional Drug Information Lookups

To assist you when adding medications, DoseTrack offers optional search lookups powered by public national health database APIs (including NHS dm+d in the UK, US FDA / RxNorm in the USA, CIMA in Spain, and BDPM in France). These queries send only the non-identifiable medication search text directly to public health endpoints. No personal data or user identifiers are ever attached to search queries.

5. Advertising & Analytics

The free core version of DoseTrack may display non-intrusive advertisements provided by third-party ad networks (such as Google AdMob). These networks may use anonymized hardware identifiers or general device metrics to serve relevant ads in accordance with their respective privacy policies. Daily dose logging screens remain 100% ad-free.

6. Data Ownership & PDF Export

You maintain full, uninhibited ownership of your data at all times. DoseTrack includes a 1-tap clinical PDF report export tool allowing you to generate and export your complete adherence summary directly to your healthcare provider, endocrinologist, or pharmacist.
