DoseCurve ("we", "the app") is a personal medication-tracking journal for GLP-1 / GIP therapies. This policy explains what the mobile app handles and your choices. It applies to the mobile app built by MojoSoft.
The local database may contain medication names, dosage and schedules; adherence, stock and symptom history; weight entries; profile details you enter; and app settings. Android application backup is disabled for privacy protection. Uninstalling the app removes its local database.
The app does not operate a separate biometric lock or encrypted database. We recommend protecting access to your device using your operating system's screen lock or passcode.
If you search for or scan a medicine barcode/label, the app sends the medicine name, barcode, or product identifier to an official drug-data service such as NHS dm+d or openFDA. That service receives standard network request information, including your IP address. DoseCurve does not include your weight, symptom history, dose history, or personal profile in these lookup requests.
Camera access is requested only when you choose the barcode or label scanner. Images are processed locally on your device and are never uploaded by DoseCurve. You may deny or revoke camera permission at any time and enter medication details manually.
The free tier of DoseCurve is supported by Google AdMob. The Google Mobile Ads SDK may process device identifiers, IP address, approximate location, ad interaction, and app-usage data. DoseCurve requests non-personalised ads, but identifiers may still be processed by Google for frequency capping, fraud prevention, and aggregated reporting.

If you explicitly opt in to share anonymous diagnostics, DoseCurve enables Firebase Crashlytics and Analytics. Diagnostic events are designed not to contain medication names, doses, weights, symptoms, or health values. They contain technical information such as device model, operating system version, app interaction events, and crash trace logs. You may withdraw this permission at any time in Profile Settings.
When you choose to export data or generate a doctor summary report, the app creates a local file (e.g. CSV or document summary) and opens your operating system's share sheet. The destination you choose is outside DoseCurve's control. Temporary export files created by DoseCurve are purged after the share action completes where permitted by the OS.
Under the UK GDPR and EU GDPR, processing necessary to provide the app is based on performance of the service; optional diagnostics and consent-regulated advertising storage are based on consent; security and fraud prevention rely on legitimate interests or legal obligations.
You have full right to access, correct, export, and erase your local records within the app. For privacy questions, contact us at dosecurve@outlook.com or support@mojosoft.co.uk.
Local records remain on your device until you delete them or uninstall the app. Third-party diagnostic and ad data are retained by the respective service provider under their own retention policies.
DoseCurve is intended for adults aged 18 or older and does not knowingly collect data from children.
